Application Terokal 5308 is used in the body shop for bonding hem flange seams of doors, hoods, and trunk lids.
Product Technology:
Terokal 5308 is an induction curing, solvent free, metal to metal adhesive with good storage stability based on PVC plastisols. The material can be pre-cured by oven or induction process to a minimum of 80°C and will reach maximum strength with curing temperatures between 170° and 220°C. The product is overpaintable with many primers and paints common in the paint shop, without showing any damage to the surface. Terokal 5308 exhibits excellent adhesion in the cold to -40°C.
